The PKM 1500 fragments materials with a full scissor-action movement between the rotating and fixed blades. The blade arrangement, positioned at opposite angles, ensures that the material is clearly cut without being crushed. This method minimizes heat generated during crushing, preventing thermal deformation of the plastic and maintaining the quality of the resulting flakes. The low heat and optimized cutting angle also provide significant savings in energy consumption and a significant reduction in noise levels.
